Bodegas las Orcas is a small family run winery in Rioja Alavesa. Cristina San Pedro Rández and Raimundo Abando are the 5th generation of winegrowers, and recently welcomed their daughter Lucia into the family. The Reserva is 100 % Tempranillo from a single vineyard, Entradas de San Ángel. It spends 24 months in French oak barrels and a minimum of 16 months in bottle before release. Full-bodied and savory, but without feeling heavy.
