Massachusetts has a very long history of making rum, so it made sense for Boston distillery, Bully Boy to try their hand at it. Made from a mixture of blackstrap molasses, which imparts vanilla notes, and sweet molasses, which has a cleaner, fruitier flavor. The rum is then aged in used whiskey barrels.
