Cardedu Sardegna Bucce

A delightful and fascinating skin-contact wine that even classic white wine drinkers will enjoy! 'Bucce' means skins and refers to the few days of skin-contact that the white Vermentino and Nasco grapes in this blend sees which gives it just a bit of tannin and texture on the finish. The unusual addition of red Cannonau gives this white a decidedly red fruited note of fresh cherry. Fresh, medium-weight, with notes of white cherry, bing cherry, juicy peach, and almond paste. This wine gets more and more flavorful as it comes to room temperature, so try not to serve it too cold!
