Château Cibon (Clos Cibonne) Cuvée Hommage à Marius Rosé 2018

Château Cibon Cuvée Marius is a tribute to Marius Roux, the modern founder of Clos Cibonne and defender of the tibouren grape in Provence in the 1800s. This is certainly not your classic, beachside Provence rosé, this is a serious, age-worthy wine deserving of a fabulous meal. The blend is 90% Tibouren, the ancient and rare variety of this region, 10% Grenache from vines over 60 years old. It ages for a whopping2 years in large French foudres, followed by one year in bottle before release. A truly special bottle.
