The Chateau de Pellehaut estate in the Ténarèze region of Armagnac, has been cared for by the Béraut family for over 400 years! They operate not just a distillery, but several vineyards as well as raising cattle, truly farm-to-bottle. In the distillery they use the traditional, wood-fired continuous still, 'alembic aarmagnacais' then age the brandy in 400L barrels many of them made from their own forest. For the reserve the average age is 10 years.
