100% Giró from multiple plots in the Sierra de Bernia, harvested by hand, fermented as whole clusters, and foot-crushed in vats. It ages one year in neutral French oak barriques, and a second year in old American oak casks. Bottling is without fining or filtration. This is a really special, completely unique, red from Valencia, Spain. Notes of eucalyptus, ripe cherry, strawberry, raspberry syrup, fresh flowers, a squeeze of lemon juice, and a savory note on the finish, a rollercoaster of flavors! Medium+ body, great acidity, inky color. Only 2,500 bottles produced!
