60-year-old, own-rooted, organic vineyard in the La Patagua district of the Colchagua Valley. Grapes are hand-harvested and directly pressed into stainless steel for a spontaneous fermentation with native yeast and then bottled unfiltered. This wine showcases the best of Semillon, rich, waxy texture, soft white florals, but with an extra depth and sunniness that I did not expect! Great, ripe and fresh peach, apple blossom, meyer lemon, with a lingering textural component on the finish.
