Laird's claim to fame is that they were the very first distillery in America. Alexander Laird emigrated to the present day New Jersey in 1698 and after having been a distiller in Scotland, took to using apples, the most abundant sugar source around, to make brandy. It remains in the family to this day! 100% straight apple brandy aged in charred oak barrels for 7.5 years.
