This is just an anomaly. This vintage got slept on and ended up collecting dust in the warehouse. Now we get this amazing deal on a perfectly delicious wine with 10 years of age on it. Ripe, stewed, and dried cherry, a touch of leather, dusty, soft tannin.
This wine does have sediment and needs decanting (keep upright for 2 days (or on its side if you are able to open it on its side) then very slowly pour over a light and stop pouring when you see the sediment creep up.
