Quinta de Santiago Vinho Verde 2022

My platonic ideal of a Vinho Verde. Fresh, ever-so-delicately fizzy, and perfectly refreshing. This expression from Quinta de Santiago is 40% Arinto, 30% Trajadura, and 30% Loureiro from a small family winery run by Joanna Santiago following in her grandmother's footsteps. Their family used to sell almost the entirety of their harvest to the local co-op but Joanna was convinced that they had something special in their vineyards and decided to bottle the wines for their own distribution, and we're so glad she did!
