Tsiakkas Lemesos 'Mouklos' 2022

We're starting to see more and better wines imported from Greece, and this delicious semi-carbonic red from Cyprus is a great example! The soils here are intensely sandy and volcanic which means they have never been worried about phyloxerra and many vines, including those tended by Tsiakkas, are own-rooted. 100% Mavro ambelissimo notes of bright, bing cherry, dried herbs, and touch of bitterness on the finish give this juicy, easy-drinking red some complexity.
