From highly acclaimed winemaker Samantha Sheehan, this is all organically farmed Cabernet Sauvignon from the Red Hills AVA, with a touch of Cabernet Franc from Coombsville in Napa, that ferments naturally and is made without any additives aside from a small dose of SO2 for preservation. The wine ages for 18 months in neutral oak barrels. Velvety, fruit-driven and balanced. It has notes of plums, blueberry compote, fresh violet petals and currant, with hints of blackberry and black pepper.
