Vincent Gaudry Sancerre 'Le Tournebride' 2021

Vincent Gaudry is one of the kindest, most thoughtful wine-growers in the Loire, possibly the world. His approach to farming is focused on regenerating the health of the soil, going well beyond just organic, and in the cellar his gentle touch and lack of manipulation leads to uniquely soulful, vibrant, chrystalline wines that showcase why Sancerre became so popular in the first place. ‘Le Tournebride’ is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc grown on caillottes from Verdigny, terres blanches from Sury-en-Vaux, and silex from Saint-Satur. Notes of fresh pear, daffodil, dusty white chalk and abundantly fresh on the palate.
