A rare and distinctly Austrian variety, 'Orange-Traube' gets its name from the slight orange tint of the skins of this grape, not because this wine sees and skin-contact. Though it may be power of suggestion, there does seem to be a lovely navel orange, orange blossom aroma to this wine, along with ripe apricot, Meyer lemon, and a touch of spice. Ripe, luscious fruit, with a silky texture. This would be delicious with classic Austrian fare, or a dish with some heat!
